RAI were recently given the opportunity to supply Rope Access Eddy Current technicians to Marlin Offshore / DCD-Dorbyl for the inspection of a new crane boom section, fabricated by DCD-Dorbyl. On the 24th Dec 2009, RAI got the perfect wind gap, to go and replace a vinyl pocket and bar sign on a building in Cape Town City Center. The old sign had to be removed, folded and lowered to the platform, this posed a bit of a problem as (due to sun damage) the sign was quite stiff and not easily manageable.
