Overview
This 3 day course will cover the theoretical & practical training for the following:
Working at Height
Risk Assessment
Fall Protection Planner
Introduction into working at heights
Fall protection
Risk and hazard identification
Fall arrest equipment and rescues
Working at height equipment
Rescue techniques and associated equipment
Equipment inspection and maintenance
Develop a Fall Protection and Arrest Plan
Health and safety compliance – Legislation
Fall protection plans
Manage safety of personnel working at height
Requirements
Physically fit
Must be at least 18 years old
Be able to read and write English
Functioning literacy in English (or African language)
Must have SAQA 229995 / 229998 qualification (If not, then course will run over 5 days and include 229995 / 229998)
